Linde Engineering – Building the Future of Carbon Capture at Filbornaverket.

Linde Engineering has been selected as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partner for Öresundskraft’s Innozhero project, tasked with building the carbon capture facility at Filbornaverket in Helsingborg. With over 140 years of experience and more than 4,000 plant engineering projects completed globally, Linde brings a wealth of expertise in gas processing and carbon capture technologies.

Linde’s proven track record in delivering large-scale, complex projects, including carbon capture installations in the cement and energy sectors, ensures that the CCS facility at Filbornaverket will meet the highest standards of efficiency and reliability.

The agreement between Öresundskraft and Linde encompasses the full design and construction of the CCS plant, which aims to capture up to 200,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually from 2029. This collaboration is a significant step toward achieving Helsingborg’s goal of climate neutrality by 2030, providing a scalable and dependable solution for carbon capture and storage.
